Day number 1
Today was my first day of being vegan. I’ve not had any non-vegan cravings as of yet and I have just enjoyed my first vegan pizza, I also bought a zine full of vegan recipes. So far I like lent.

Becoming vegan
Now its lent. Jenny and I have decided to become vegan for the next 40 days. We were going to cut out a ton of things, but i realised I can’t cut out cigarettes, and neither of us can cut out alcohol. So then we were only left with chocolate, cheese etc. and we thought we might as well go the whole hog and be vegan for a bit since were both vegetarian anyway, and eggs freak me out a bit,...

cigarette trauma.
I was on my way to work this evening and pulled my cigarettes out of my coat pocket to enjoy the last one of the packet, to my horror there was only half a cigarette. Richmond Superkings ARE quite large, but did not make up for the missing tobacco though. My pre-work fag was ruined. My post-work fag however, was glorious.

The best night/day (so far)
This morning I woke up with eyes drawn on the palms of my hands (I’m sure there will be a photo). Two packages also arrived, one from Lemuria and one full of Your Heart Breaks merch. I just had THE LONGEST SHOWER and later I have my shift at the music library. Although I am revoltingly hung over, today is good.
